Events This Week in Portsmouth

Portsmouth's live scene centres on the Guildhall, a grand civic hall rebuilt after WWII bombing and reopened by the Queen in 1959, and the Portsmouth Pyramids Centre on Southsea seafront. The New Theatre Royal, an intimate Victorian theatre that survived a fire and a near-demolition, and the Wedgewood Rooms — home to the city's longest-running comedy club — cover the smaller end, with past acts including Jo Brand and Michael McIntyre. Whatever the show, TheShowFinder tracks tickets across every major provider so you can compare prices before you buy.
