Things To Do in Sunderland This Weekend

Sunderland's Stadium of Light has hosted some of the North East's biggest stadium shows, including Beyoncé and Ed Sheeran, while the Edwardian Sunderland Empire Theatre — where The Beatles played on their first national tour — has been extended to host major West End musicals. The new Fire Station venue, part of the city's Music, Arts and Culture Quarter, won a regional architecture award in 2024. Whatever the show, TheShowFinder tracks tickets across every major provider so you can compare prices before you buy.
