100 Years on Stage at Oatley House Main Hall
About this event
From 1926 to 2026, Bristol Musical Comedy Club members past and present come together for an evening of tales and songs celebrating 100 years of shows performed by BMCC. Audiences will be taken on a journey through the last 10 decades of musical theatre, revisiting songs and music from some of the Club's favourite shows, alongside stories from its fascinating history. The evening will explore some of BMCC's most memorable moments, including what the Club's very first show was, whether a bus really was built in the Redgrave, how many times BMCC has performed at the Hippodrome, and quite how many musicians can actually be squeezed into a pit! There will be plenty of opportunities to reminisce, with memories from members past and present bringing the Club's 100-year history to life. Audiences may even have a memory or two of their own to share, making this a celebration not just of BMCC's past, but of the people who have been part of its story. From Guys and Dolls to Priscilla, Dames at Sea to Sister Act, BMCC 100: A Centenary Revue promises an unforgettable evening of musical theatre joy, celebrating 100 years of Bristol Musical Comedy Club and looking back at the shows, songs, stori
