A Christmas Carol – A One-Man Performance
About this event
A sparse stage. A single performer. And Victorian London springs to life. Returning after last year's sold-out shows, this is ‘A Christmas Carol’ as Charles Dickens performed it himself, drawn directly from his original reading script. Through voice, presence and the power of Dickens’ unaltered words, a whole world unfolds - Scrooge’s chilly office, Fezziwig’s joyous party, the warmth of the Cratchit family, and the haunting visitation of the spirits. The simplicity becomes the magic: no adaptation, no modern reinterpretation — just the story as it thrilled audiences 183 years ago, brought vividly to life. Step into the magic of Christmas as Mat Jones returns with his acclaimed one-man performance of Charles Dickens’ beloved festive classic.
