A Thing of Beauty
About this event
Set against the backdrop of 1972, the narrative unfolds through an intense interview between Riefenstahl and Harry Adams, a troubled documentary filmmaker reflecting their personal ambitions and pasts. This gripping new play by Wendy Oberman and Jonathan Lewis challenges the audience to contemplate whether art can ever be separated from the artist, especially in an era rife with falsehoods, propaganda, and societal cancellation. ★★★★ ‘Imogen Stubbs electrifies as grilled Nazi propagandist Leni Riefenstahl… ‘ The Guardian
