Bam-BOO!
About this event
Things are about to go Bam-BOO! at Birmingham Botanical Gardens… This October, forget plastic pumpkins and throwaway scares - Halloween is going wild. Bring the family to Birmingham Botanical Gardens for Bam-BOO!, a playful celebration of bamboo, nature and all the weird and wonderful things the natural world can do. Discover nature’s tricks, treats and seriously impressive superpowers as you build, play, explore and get hands-on with one of the planet’s most extraordinary plants. The Giant Bamboo Marble Run (on the main lawn) This isn’t a marble run you simply come and play with - we’re building it together! Meet our brilliant builders, Bam & Boo, and help them create an ever-growing GIANT marble run using lengths of real bamboo. They’ve been busy experimenting, building and causing a little bam-boo-zlement around the Gardens and now they need your help! Build it, test it, change it and add to it. Create new routes, try out different ideas and discover what works - and what sends your marble flying completely off course! Bam and Boo will help you to keep changing, extending and rebuilding the run, seeing just how big, long and brilliantly bonkers it can be. Can we make it faster?
