It's a Wonderful Life - the Stage Play

About this event

Please note: this is a live stage play and not a film Welcome to Bedford Falls! Christmas Eve, 1945... George Bailey, a down-on-his-luck banker, believes life has passed him by, and he's at the end of his rope. But when his guardian angel, Clarence, appears, George is astounded to witness what life could be like without all the good deeds he's done. Maybe it's a wonderful life, after all?Following a sell-out run at Liverpool's Royal Court, Old Fruit Jar Productions' enchanting adaptation returns in a special radio play-style performance, bringing the magic of the beloved film and stage production to life by a handful of Liverpool's best actors.Inspired by the 1946 Frank Capra film of the same name, this feel-good classic celebrates the value of life, the power of kindness and the extraordinary impact one person can have on the lives of so many others. Rediscover the magic of Bedford Falls in a unique live experience that captures all the heart, humour and festive spirit of this timeless story.Written by Mary Elliott NelsonDirected by Alex KingProduced by Old Fruit Jar Productions and Liverpool's Royal Court "You will not leave feeling anything short of wonderful!" - Stagey Reviews
