Mortimer

About this event

Some moments are meant to be shared differently. Mortimer invites you to A Postcard from Mortimer – A Live Acoustic Experience, a very special and intimate series of shows created especially for his fans. This will be more than an acoustic concert. Every person in the audience will receive a postcard featuring a series of written phrases. During the show, these words will become the starting point for conversations, stories and unexpected moments between Mortimer and the audience. No two nights will be exactly the same. The audience will be invited into Mortimer’s world as he explores different subjects, shares stories and creates a genuine connection with the people in the room. And at the end of each show, your postcard will be signed by Mortimer – turning it into a personal memory of the night. Mortimer is a Jamaican recording artist on the rise; a singer with an enthralling voice, who is equally comfortable creating traditional roots reggae as well as contemporary Jamaican music, and who dances between the two to reveal a sound that blends his old-soul sensibilities with progressive youthfulness. Mortimer’s voice effortlessly glides between a raspy, smoky alto and a silky false
