Nartan Festival: Love Poetry from Classical India Talk
About this event
After her fascinating talk last year, Nupur Arts are delighted to be welcoming back Dr Maddalena Italia, Associate Lecturer (Teaching) at UCL, for a talk exploring Sanskrit love poetry. She will focus on Kฤlidฤsaโs Meghadลซta. No prior knowledge is necessary to enjoy the talk, just a curiosity about Indian cultural heritage. This event is part of Nartan Festival, produced by Nupur Arts, supported by Leicester City Council and funded by Arts Council England.
