Night of the Fellows 2026 at Spike Island
About this event
Each year, Spike Island offers fellowships to promising emerging artists selected through an open call to graduating students. Fellows are awarded a studio at Spike Island for one year, giving them space and support to develop their professional practices within Bristol's vibrant artistic community. Visitors are invited to an evening of presentations, installations and networking with the Spike Island community, wishing best of luck to the outgoing and incoming Fellows. The event sees the new Graduate Fellows 2026–27 introduce themselves and their practices, alongside the outgoing Graduate Fellows 2025–26, who share their experiences and aspirations for the future. A group exhibition featuring artwork by all of the Fellows will be presented alongside the event. The exhibition will be open to the public throughout the evening, and viewable by appointment only until Sunday 1 October. There will also be a paid bar with drinks and snacks available throughout the evening. Graduate Fellows for 2026–27: Charli-Ann Padilla (UWE Bristol), Martha Fox (UWE Bristol), Tess Foley (UWE Bristol) and George Morgan (Bath Spa University). Graduate Fellows 2025–26: Noah Cole (UWE Bristol), Taiki Nakag
