About this event

Grammy-nominated Miho Hazama, chief conductor of the Danish Radio Big Band, brings an effortless swagger to her debut at the Bridgewater Hall. At the heart of this jazz-inflected programme is George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue - a piano concerto threaded through with jazz freedom - followed by selected Gershwin songs reframed through Hazama’s luminous instrumental arrangements.
