Explore the QE2 Mile on a leisurely stroll through the heart of Southampton, passing key landmarks and maritime memorials. The QE2 Mile – named in honour of Southampton’s maritime heritage, and the famous QE2 liner having visited Southampton port on more occasions than any other port in the world – links the city’s cultural quarter to the waterfront, marking Southampton’s most historic sites. On a leisurely stroll through Southampton, departing the Titanic Engineers Memorial and concluding at Town Quay, we will pass other key landmarks and maritime memorials, passing through the Bargate and visiting some of the Old Town medieval vaults, together with stops at Holy Rood Church and St. Michael’s Square.
