Those Were The Days
About this event
Those Were The Days is a sparkling, foot-tapping, feel-good show evoking the wonderful mix of entertainment that accompanied the optimistic post-war years, and is packed with nearly fifty singalong hits. Multi-talented musical entertainers Andy Eastwood and Pete Lindup bring us songs from not only the rock & roll stars like Bill Haley and Buddy Holly, but variety artists such as Morecambe and Wise, and even George Formby, while sensational vocalist Helen Farrell pays tribute to Connie Francis, Cilla Black and Doris Day. They are joined by versatile, velvet-voiced crooner Chris Ritchie, who will bring us hit songs from the legendary Matt Monro in act one, before reappearing as Neil Diamond in the second half! Accompanied by the Wendy Richardson Band, this will be an unforgettable afternoon of live music and variety. Why not take advantage of our group discounts and bring a party to join in the fun?
