Workshop: Intro to Printing with Tetra Pak
About this event
Join artist, Mandy Smith, for an intimate, hands-on printmaking workshop designed for a small group of just four participants (ages 16+). We’ll begin by experimenting with mark-making on Tetra Pak plates using drypoint tools and a variety of everyday household objects. You’ll then ink up your test plates using the intaglio method and run them through the press to create your first prints. Next, you’ll design and create your own small plate. Feel free to bring along sketches or reference images you’d like to explore. All materials and tools are provided. Please come dressed for mess — bring an apron and wear clothes you don’t mind getting inky! Please note there are a limited number of 4 spaces for this workshop.
