Year 10 Securing Success Evening
About this event
As your child begins their final year at Martin High School, we would like to invite you and your child to our Year 10 Securing Success event on TMonday 2nd November 2026 from 5.00pm to 6.00pm. This event is designed to help Year 10 learners make the most of their firat year of GCSE study. It will also provide parents and carers with practical information and strategies to support their child throughout this important year. During the evening, we will cover: Effective revision and retrieval techniques Independent study habits that lead to success Time management and study planning strategies How to support wellbeing and maintain motivation Key dates and important milestones throughout the academic year The session will be particularly valuable as learners begin adapt to Key Stage 4 Study and begin to think about their first set of trial exams on May 2027. Due to capacity, tickets are limited to 3 per family.
