Masquerade! at Christ Church

About this event

Unmask the ultimate festive fantasy this Christmas with Filton Concert Brass as they present 'Masquerade', a spellbinding Christmas concert with an Italian twist that takes you on a journey into the world of an 18th century Venetian Masked Ball as you step through the doors into December 1774. Hosted within a grand Venetian Palazzo, the evening of candlelit wonder is narrated by the infamous Giacomo Casanova, who'll weave a tale of festive romance and intrigue between the glorious music. Echoing the artistic majesty of the Renaissance era, our musicians will fill the night air with powerful, cinematic melodies. Expect music from Romeo & Juliet, waltzes from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite, Masquerade Suite by Khachaturian, Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana by Mascagni, Vivaldi's Winter from The Four Seasons, Romance by Shostakovich - to name just a few plus some festive crackers along the way! Hide your identity beneath your mask in true Masquerade style, dress to impress and prepare for a Christmas concert unlike any other! Tickets Adult £10 Concession (over 65) £8.00 Under 16s FREE
