Pinocchio the Pantomime
About this event
The Groundlings Theatre hosts a pantomime version of the classic tale of Pinocchio for Christmas 2026 - featuring all the family fun and laughs you can expect! Pinocchio the Puppet dreams of being a real boy. But to do so, he must set off on an adventure to find out what it really means to be human. Join in the fun as he helps Geppetto the Puppet Maker to find love, narrowly avoids being captured by the mysterious travelling circus and their wicked Ringmaster and, of course, makes a load of friends along the way! Get ready to shout for the goodies, boo the baddies and sing along in a show packed full of comedy, magic and adventure - with plenty to sing, dance and clap along to! This will be a true local community show in the Groundlings' new Historic Dockyard location, with cabaret table seating – where you can go as a large group or just grab a couple of seats. Plus it's the only theatre in Portsmouth with step-free access for absolutely everyone!
